We visited Roy late June 2007 for 2 days. We learned a lot about Roy, how he has supported himself through his music for over 50 years, the benefits of Cod Liver Oil and more. Red Kelly (a true Soul Detective) was kind enough to visit us as we stayed in Allendale's Executive Inn. I heard some amazing soul music from him. Be sure to visit his blog http://www.souldetective.blogspot.com. Also be sure to listen to some of the J.Hines tunes he has on there. He played guitar on a lot of Roy's albums. J. Hines deserves a film about himself just the same. But for now we will focus on Roy C. Keep checking back for more information on the film.

Return from Allendale

We just returned from Allendale SC. Our mission.... return with footage of Roy C. Hammond. Mission Accomplished! We stayed at the Executive Inn in Allendale and hung out with Roy for two days at his store (Carolina Record Distribution) and at his home. It was the best time I ever had. The people of Allendale were so kind and served us up a fat portion of Southern hospitality. I will begin editing asap and hope to have "Roy C. Forever" finished by November.
